Hyper Drill – Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Hyper Drill, developed by LMC Gaming ("we", "us"), handles information when you use the app. By using Hyper Drill, you accept the practices described in this document.

1. Who we are

For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the person named above is the data controller for the limited processing described below.

2. What information we process

Game progress (stored on your device)

Hyper Drill saves data such as the phase you have reached, your coins, your upgrades, the items you have unlocked and your achievements in your device's local storage, for the sole purpose of preserving your progress and settings. This information stays exclusively on your device: it is not sent to our servers, nor do we receive it. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing its data.

Hyper Drill has no account of its own: there is nothing to sign up for and we never ask you for your name, your email address or any other personal detail. The one sign-in the game can use is Google Play Games, handled entirely by Google with the profile already on your device, and described in the next section. We never see your Google password.

Leaderboards (Google Play Games)

Hyper Drill includes a leaderboard that ranks players by achievements and level, run by Google Play Games Services. If your device is signed in to Play Games, the game uses that profile; sign-in is performed by Google, not by us.

Data	What happens to it
Your Play Games display name (your gamertag)	Shown next to your position in the leaderboard.
Your Play Games player ID	An identifier Google generates for you. It is not your real name and not your email address. The game uses it only to tell which row of the leaderboard is yours.
Your score	A single number combining how many achievements you have unlocked and the level you have reached. It is sent to Google and stored there.

Your gamertag, your score and your position are visible to other players of Hyper Drill. That is what a leaderboard is, and it is worth saying plainly rather than burying it. Nothing else about you is shared, and none of it reaches us: it goes from your device to Google.

If you are not signed in to Play Games, or you choose not to be, the game shows a sample leaderboard instead and everything else works exactly the same. You can turn Play Games sign-in on or off, change what your profile shows, or delete your game data, from the Google Play Games app on your device or from your Google account.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

Hyper Drill shows rewarded video ads only: ads you choose to watch in exchange for fuel, coins or a second chance. They are never forced on you and they never interrupt a run.

The ads are supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure them, AdMob collects the following from your device:

Data	What it is used for
Advertising ID	Selecting ads, limiting how often you see the same one, and measuring whether an ad worked. It is a resettable identifier, not your name.
Approximate location, derived from your IP address	Serving ads appropriate to your country and language.
Ad interactions and general device information	Measurement and fraud prevention.
Crash and performance logs from the ads SDK	Diagnostics.

This data is transmitted encrypted and is not linked to your identity. What Google does with it is governed by Google's own privacy terms.

Purchases (Google Play)

Hyper Drill offers in-app purchases of in-game coins. Payment is handled end to end by Google Play, which acts as the seller. The app receives only a confirmation that a purchase has completed, and credits your coins. We never see or store your payment details — no card number, no billing address, nothing. Your purchase history is held by Google under Google's privacy policy.

Coin packs contain a fixed, stated amount. There are no loot boxes and nothing random is sold.

Crash and performance diagnostics	Legitimate interest in keeping the app working.

4. Your choices about advertising

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows you a consent form the first time you open it, where you choose whether your data may be used for personalised advertising. You can reopen that form and change your answer at any time from the app's settings. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised.

Regardless of where you are, you can also control this from your device: open Android's Settings and search for "Ads". There you can reset your advertising ID, or delete it entirely so that apps receive no identifier at all. The game works exactly the same either way.

5. Who receives the data, and where it goes

The only recipient is Google (Google Ireland Limited and its affiliates), acting as the advertising provider, as the payment processor and as the leaderboard provider. Google may process this information on servers outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States, under the safeguards described in Google's data processing terms.

6. How long it is kept

We keep nothing, because we receive nothing: your progress lives on your device, and the advertising data and your leaderboard score go directly to Google. Your score stays on the leaderboard until you delete your Play Games data for this game, which you can do from the Play Games app. Google's own retention periods are set out in its privacy policy, linked above.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your personal data. Because we hold none, in practice these rights are exercised either on your device (clear the app's data, reset or delete your advertising ID, delete your Play Games data for this game) or with Google through your Google account.

8. Children

Hyper Drill is not directed to children under 13 and is not part of Google Play's Designed for Families programme. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the app: clearing the app's data removes everything held on the device, the advertising ID can be deleted from Android's settings, and any leaderboard entry can be removed by deleting the game's data in the Google Play Games app.

9. Permissions

The app requests network access (for ads, purchases and leaderboards) and access to the advertising identifier. It requests no runtime permissions: no camera, no microphone, no contacts, no precise location, no files.

10. Changes to this policy

If a future version adds features that handle data differently, this policy will be updated before that version is published, and the "last updated" date at the top will change.

The 25 August 2026 update is exactly that: it adds the Play Games leaderboard section above, which the previous version had announced in advance.
